e.l.f. Limited Edition Sets at Gordmans {Spotted}
If you happen to live in the Midwest, particularly Iowa, you should see if there’s a Gordmans in your area. Similar to T.J.Maxx or Marshalls, but with much higher ceilings, Gordmans usually has a lot of recently discontinued limited edition Target e.l.f. sets. I mentioned the store in an earlier blog post where I was able to get a nail polish set and 32-piece palette from Spring 2012 that I had missed at Target.
The kids are away at Grandma’s for the week, so I was able to take a rare leisurely look around the store. It was nice. Boys don’t (usually) appreciate makeup. Neither does my husband, but he deals. I have to go into Game Stop all the time, and I at least make an effort to know what everyone likes. No one reciprocates with my makeup interest. Hmph.
Normally there is a little section in the makeup section that has e.l.f. sets, but this time I found two large displays with e.l.f. limited edition sets. There had to be sets from at least three different promotions: the recent Spring 2013 Target collection, possibly the current Glam U/Beauty School 2013 Target collection, and a white/teal packaging Spring 2013 that I think was exclusive to Walgreens.
I did purchase a Little Black Beauty Book: Day Edition and an Eyeshadow Book: Nude from the Spring 2013 Target Collection, as well as a knock off Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette from some brand. Look forward to those reviews in the near future.
